A few months ago, I convinced a fellow Forest Service buddy of mine to come down to Tucson to hang for a day or two. I first met Jon Carnill when I worked for the FS summer of ‘18. We, along with our other friend Noall (I’ll post some of him later), spent our time hunting down cool hikes, chilling by creeks, making bonfires & just shooting the shit about life in general. It was a grand time.
I don’t see Jon as much as I’d like anymore because he stayed a desert rat while I moved to cooler temps up north during summers. But a couple times a year, the boys unite. And it’s always fantastic.
This time ‘round, Jon came down to Tucson to hang out. We camped up on Redington Pass overlooking the city, chased a couple waterfalls, hiked Saguaro National Park & made more fires. Without further ado, I present photos from this excellent visit.
